Members of the Faculty of Conflict and Catastrophe Medicine ran a three day Humanitarian Disaster Assistance Course at the United Nations Training School Ireland (UNTSI) at the Curragh near Dublin from October 7th – 10th, 2014. The course was sponsored by Cooperation and Working Together (CAWT), a partnership between the Health and Social Care Services in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, which facilitates cross border collaborative working in health and social care. The course was attended by representatives from Irish Aid, from the medical services of the Irish and UK Armed Forces and from the NHS.
