Apothecary is the official publication of the Worshipful Society of Apothecaries.  It includes articles that showcase the activities of the Society and its members as well as specially commissioned pieces on topics of relevance and interest to the Society. Published annually, Apothecary is distributed to all members of the Society as well as to other key stakeholders and is posted on the Society’s website, amassing to a readership of thousands of medical professionals worldwide. The content of each edition is determined by the Editorial Committee, under the leadership of editor, Professor Michael Farthing.

In 2020 the Editorial Committee elected to showcase the work of students taking the Conflict and Catastrophe Medicine Course and invited student submissions on the COVID-19 pandemic. The quality of submissions was such that the Editorial Committee have continued to call for essays to be considered for publication.  The essay may be on any theme relating to Conflict & Catastrophe Medicine of particular interest to you.
