The Senior Warden (Roy Palmer) and Past Masters Brian Livesley and Tim Chambers visited the Type 23 Frigate HMS Somerset in Avonmouth for her 20^th anniversary of commissioning celebrations. The Society and the vessel have been affiliated since 1996, and each year the Society awards a Prize for Excellence to the rating who is deemed by the Commanding Officer to have contributed most to the ship during the year.
