The Monckton Copeman lecture was endowed in 1967 by the Faculty’s Founder Chairman Dr W.S.C. Copeman C.B.E. to commemorate his father, Dr S.A. Monckton Copeman FRS. Its aim is to reinforce the medical and historical ties existing between the Society of Apothecaries and the City of London.
