The Society’s major functions are our showpiece events, open to Liverymen, Yeomen and their guests. Hosted by the Master and Wardens, official guests may include visiting Masters, Presidents of Royal Societies, senior figures in the world of medicine, pharmacy, the sciences, entertainment, Armed Forces, finance, politics, and beyond. These are the ideal opportunity to show friends and family what the Livery is all about – whilst recognising our academic and charitable purpose. With members and guests dressed in their finest, participating in ancient – and fun! – ceremonies, enjoying the finest wines and foods, and with excellent entertainment, what is a once-in-a-lifetime event for some can be enjoyed frequently by Apothecaries. Although now open to all, traditionally this dinner was reserved for our Yeomen and their guests, and we still particularly encourage Yeomen to attend, to show their commitment to the Society, and to build friendships that will last a lifetime. It is also the occasion at which we celebrate our connections with HM Armed Forces, so service personnel are particularly welcome as guests. It is always a colourful occasion with the service personnel in their uniforms. A stair guard is provided by the 201 (RAMC) Harrow Detachment Army Cadet Force.
Refunds, minus a £5 admin fee (per ticket), will be offered, upon request, to anyone cancelling for any reason up to six working days before an event. After this time, no refunds are available.
