From the Battle of Britain to the Cold War:
A Visit to the RAF Museum, Hendon
The Livery Committee is planning a day visit to the Royal Air Force Museum, Hendon, including guided tours of the Battle of Britain and Cold War exhibitions, with a sandwich lunch in the museum between tours and free time after to explore.

The Royal Air Force Museum London is a national museum that celebrates and commemorates the story of the Royal Air Force. The museum has six hangars each themed to a different part of RAF history. The RAF is over 100 years old, and the first hanger explores the roles of various people within the organisation, as well as changes in technology, two hangers contain aircraft of the Second World War and the Cold War, including a V bomber, a Lancaster, a Hurricane, an ME109 and a Spitfire.

The museum presents an intriguing and interesting day out, particularly with the knowledgeable guide.

Places will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis. Please feel free to invite one or more guests.

Any problems booking in this way, please contact Beci who will be happy to assist:  events@apothecaries.org
Refunds, minus a £5 admin fee (per ticket), will be offered, upon request, to anyone cancelling for any reason up to six working days before an event.  After this time, no refunds are available.

The Livery Committee is the Society’s members’ social committee and is separate from the main Society Programme.  It operates outside of the governance of the Society, and uses a money-pooling system for all of its events.  Net receipts collected by the Society on their behalf are passed to the Livery Committee.
