Dear Faculty Members,
You are reminded that the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Faculty of Conflict & Catastrophe Medicine is taking place on Friday 15 May at 17.00 – 17.30 and you are invited to attend. At this meeting, members will be asked to vote on a resolution which involves the dissolution of the Faculty’s charity entity in preparation for a merger to a single charity with the Faculty of History & Philosophy of Medicine & Pharmacy and the Society’s General Charity. All paperwork relating to this is included here and follows on from previous communications.
The Trustees of the Society and Faculties would like to assure members that although the Faculty will no longer exist as a charity on its own, it will still remain in title as a function of the new single entity charity. All objectives of the Faculty will remain and any associated funds will still belong to it, as a sub-section or department within the new structure. It is not intended to change the existence and ethos of the Faculty, or interfere with the exceptional contribution it makes to furthering education and knowledge in the area of Conflict and Catastrophe Medicine.
Details of the Faculty’s annual accounts and previous minutes can be found below:
