The Society are delighted to announce that we have a new member of the Academic Team who has joined us as Faculty CC Manager, Karen Okemiri.

Karen, has a background working for Education systems management and Non-governmental organisations and has qualifications in Project Management ,  International Relations and International Development,  with a pathway in Social Policy and Sustainable Livelihoods . She has worked for Reading University , Centre for Communication and Social Impact  and  the Association of Commonwealth Universities, helping scholarship alumni and current scholar gain access to university courses in the UK and ensuring they have all the information needed to start them on their studies, as well as organising important welcome events to settle them into life in the UK.

More recently Karen has been providing support for Save the Children, on a data migration project. Karen is looking forward to working with the Faculty and will no doubt be speaking to you soon.
