This mini course for medical undergraduates is jointly run each spring by the Faculty and the Wellcome Library.
The course is over three days and provides a brief but wide-ranging introduction to the History of Medicine from the ancient world to modern times, including the development and practice of Islamic and Chinese medicine.
Students who attend lectures at the historic Apothecaries’ Hall will also benefit from a guided tour of its archives and treasures. This course is only open to students from linked medical schools.
The course will not be held in 2018.
