Tim Richman Gadoffre joined the Society in December 2022, as Communications & Engagement Officer.

He brings over 30 years of brand building & marketing communications experience, as well as his interest in history, the applied arts from 1870-1918 and antiques.
Having graduated in 1991 in Modern Languages from King’s College London, Tim moved to Paris France, where he worked with the Ogilvy Communications Group on client assignments for Nestle, Disneyland Paris, IBM, Mattel (Barbie dolls!), World Wide Fund for Nature and American Express.

In 1997, he was head-hunted to lead brand building for MasterCard at their European HQ in Belgium, where he managed 22 countries with an A&P budget of over Euro 1 billion per year.
He relocated with his wife and son to London in 2004, and jumped to independent consultancy in 2006.
Since then, Tim has become specialised in helping smaller owner-managed brands in the luxury and heritage sectors to grow their businesses profitably.
Clients include Cazenove + Loyd (travel), Russian Standard (drinks), Mantero Seta (silk), Chene Bleu (biodynamic wine), Bentley & Skinner (jewellery), The Victorian Society (heritage) and Fabergé (jewellery).

A keen cook and gardener, Tim derives inspiration from spending time in museums that include the V&A, the British Museum, Tate Britain and the Sir John Soane. He collects English Black Basalt ceramics, and gives talks about the design and craftsmanship of the House of Fabergé.

Tim says “I feel blessed to have joined the Society, and to have been made to feel so very welcome by the team and everyone here. There is so much potential for growth and engaging with a wider public, and I’m astounded by how much value is being created by the Society and the wonderful membership teams. Many multi-national corporations would be envious of the output-per-team-member seen at Apothecaries”

Welcome Tim!
