Autumn Visit to Armenia, 2022

Event Details

Leaving between Friday 23rd to Sunday 25th September 2022 for a 7 night, 8 day visit

The LC International Travelling Club visit to Armenia has had to be postponed a second time due to Covid-19 and is now planned for late September 2022.

Located in the southern Caucasus, between the Black Sea and the Caspian Sea, Armenia is a country of rugged mountains and extinct volcanoes. Its national symbol is Mount Ararat, which is linked with the biblical accounts of Noah’s Ark. Once an important crossroads on the Great Silk Route, it became the first country to adopt Christianity in 301AD, and the country is still dotted with medieval churches and monasteries. The tour will take in exotic scenery and sacred buildings, as well as enjoying Armenian hospitality.

Details of this twice delayed tour will be posted as soon as they become available, possibly not until November 2021 when flight availabilities and timings are published.  A minimum of 25 participants will be required.  Priority of application will be given to those members previously booked on the original travel dates.
