The Great Hall

The dimensions of the room (18.3m x 9.14m; or, 60ft x 30ft) make it suitable for the following types of functions:

Facilities

Audio
  • A stalk and floor-standing microphone/3 x lapel clip-on microphone
  • An induction loop is fitted
 
Visual
  • Four mobile LCD screens , connections are HDMI/VGA/USB or Apple convertor
  • Access to laptops with Windows XP operating system with a Multi-Media Projector (MMP) for PowerPoint projection.  The MMP is Apple compatible but the laptop does not have Apple software

  

 


Filming

Apothecaries' Hall is registered with Film London and information about, and images of, the location can be accessed on Film London's Locations Library database (www.filmlondon.org.uk). The Society of Apothecaries is also a member of the London Filming Partnership.

Disabled Access

There are a few steps from Black Friars Lane to the entrance of Apothecaries’ Hall through the archway to the courtyard. A portable ramp is available and can be put in place with prior notice. There is wheelchair access throughout the building and a dedicated cloakroom facility.

Dancing

It is regretted that dancing is not possible in the Hall.
