History of Medicine Intensive (three-day) Course
This fascinating three-day course covers the history of medicine from the ancient world to modern times, including the development and practice of Islamic and Chinese medicine.
The course is aimed at archivists, curators, museum staff and those working in healthcare institutions, but anyone with an interest in the subject is welcome to attend. No prior knowledge or qualifications are necessary.
Delegates will have the opportunity to hear a number of highly knowledgeable and eminent speakers and will also be able to enjoy a guided tour of Apothecaries’ Hall, where the course is held, and an evening drinks reception.
This course was first presented in 2009 and proved a huge success. We still have places available, please contact the Faculty Coordinator if you would like to attend.
